Hello! My name is Rasim Guldiken. I am a Professor of the Mechanical Engineering Department and the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of the College of Engineering at the University of South Florida, located in beautiful Tampa, Florida.
I have taught fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and engineering mathematics-related courses 41 times to 2700+ B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. students for the last 15 years. For my teaching initiatives, I have been recognized with several awards, including the SAE Ralph Teetor Educational Award, USF Academic Excellent Award, and USF University-Wide Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Award. My engineering education interests lie in open courseware for courses, metacognitive activities, and flipped learning.
