Tomorrow a different style of video is going live. Actually, over the next few weeks, there will be a mix of videos in different formats from my most recent sailings: sunrise from the ship (10 mins paired with music), the full pirate parlay show, maybe another live for a full recap, room tour, maybe vlog or two specifically around pirate night outfits, and then our regularly scheduled content - Disney Cruise Intro course & going deep into $$. I'm OOO for the next few days on a girl's trip! Enjoy some shorts and watching all the previous videos because while a few more shorts are coming, there won't be another long form until Wednesday probably. Coming up will be our final Transatlantic vlog & another "things nobody tells you about Transatlantic Cruising." For the original crew here, you may be wondering about the pivot in content to focus so heavily in cruising. It all comes down to the algorithm. The original niche was a bit too niche, so it was going to take a long time to find this community, so I'm taking a slightly different approach where the end goal is still to help families in the disability community travel. For now, this means going all in on Disney Cruise Line since it's such a fun passion of mine and sprinkling disability related travel content in and then as I grow we'll add more and more, but Youtube really seemed to struggle with finding the right audience as a mom with adhd who's a caregiver raising a child with down syndrome who loves to travel. These niches are incredibly narrow since the disability community is so siloed by diagnosis and the term "Caregiver" isn't used for parents raising disabled kids, but rather those caring for the elderly... that it seemed like my channel wasn't going to work in that original format, especially since I won't be showing my kids' faces.
Anyway, I promise the end goal isn't changing, but the path there is going to be a bit different than expected. Feel free to leave a comment on specific topics or videos you're interested in. I'm so glad you're here!
