I made a decision, after my second near death experience (totally unresponsive and my heart slowly ceasing while doctors and specialists tried to save me) that I never wanted to stay in the hospital, ever again!
So, I decided I was going to try and cure myself.
What could it hurt. I was already terrified and didn't have the best prognosis, so why wouldn't I!
I have had two near death experiences, both crazy and incredible. The second near death left me panicked for over a year. I was afraid to close my eyes and sleep for fear this might happen again, and my husband would be lying beside me, and he wouldn't even know I was slowly dying and screaming inside, So! Why wouldn't I!
I had this theory. I recognized that absorbing everyone elses energy and being a person who loved connection but couldn't keep others'opinions external, it was going to kill me. I had to do something very different. The way things had been going was a death sentence. I began a commitment to myself, and this is what it was:
π©·Live my life in a beautiful and authentic way. A way that was true to me. To live my way and own all of it. To be fully present as me, so when I did go, I was happy and satisfied with what I had done in my life.
π©·To learn to be uncomfortable with letting others down and to put myself first (which I could never do because I was a chronic people pleaser and first born child) this was one of the major struggles in my life.
π©·To get to know myself better and to finally make enough time and space for the creative and beautiful ideas I had inside me. No matter what.
π©·To cure my physical body and mind because all of the medical options I had been tried with, had so many side effects, that even when I got relief, my blood and immunity markers were clearly unimpressed and gave me new medical issues.
I created Beautifully Authentic Living to force myself and to help others take good care of ourselves. It's a daily reminder to push past the discomfort of needing approval and to just do what you need, for you. If you have the same struggle, then Beautifully Authentic Living is your motto now, too!

I'm a firm believer that when a child has someone show up for them in their little life, in a big way,
I believe it can completely change the trajectory of their entire future and belief system.
Either equipping their life toolbox or sending them out while leaving it empty.
I also believe that if the child is supported to dream and imagine something greater beyond themselves that they will use this belief later in life to ignite their possible future scenarios and to help them aquire what they need in a healthy way.
Some people won't let their kids watch Disney but will let them watch Harry Potter.
Some people don't believe in a Creator but believe in Halloween.
We all have our reasonsing and best ideas.
No parent needs to be perfect.
But they need to show up and light the best way. β¨οΈ
These things, I believe should never be disputed, especially now that we know what we know about mental health and strong survival mechanisms.
πΈ I believe children should feel so special when they are little that they will never question their worth later.
πΈ I believe imagination is the vehicle to ignite their inner gifting so that they can bridge the gap between their dreams and their actual possibility when they need to be reminded.
πΈ I believe that adults should do their absolute best by their kids no matter what's happening for them. The window of strong, solid attachment is not that wide.
πΈ I do believe mistakes happen and everything can be redeemable. However, I donβt believe parenting should be considered a vacant investment. Second to everything else in their life.
π Parenting is the hardest job with the largest equity payout.
π When done well, the entire planet reaps the reward.πΈ
π "Do your best so they can be blessed" is my motto and it is a good motto to parent by π

I know the cost of worrying about the unimportant things.
I know the cost of wasting time and energy on things that don't serve us well.
I have been admitted to the hospital and doctors and nurses have rushed around trying to save my life, twice.
Once, I was gone for 90 minutes.
Heart beating, barely, and totally unresponsive to anything.
They told me they thought they almost lost me.
I know from experience.
It took me a long time to recover from the fear of leaving the planet too soon while I still had dreams and plans inside me. I was in my 40s.
Life is a beautiful and a precious gift.
Not everyone gets time to do what they had hoped to do.
I encourage you to live fully and implement a plan for making the best of your journey.
We don't need to waste worry on things we can't influence.
We need to concern ourselves with our important bits.
The parts that are important to you.
