I teach therapists what they didn't learn in grad school.
You went through years of school to be a therapist. Countless papers, group projects, and presentations. But you still feel unprepared. Grad school taught you theories & the DSM, but there's so much you still don't know. You're worried about making mistakes that will make you look bad and possibly harm a client. Suddenly, you're expected to know what to do and you feel like you're pretending to be therapist (imposter syndrome is STRONG). You just want to do a good job!
This channel is for new and established therapists seeking additional support. All therapists were in your position at some point and there is no reason you have to deal with these insecurities and fears on your own. I provide a space where I (and the guests I have on here) can share real experiences about being a therapist and give tips on how to manage all the parts of this field no one really prepares you for (and there's a lot of them). Let's get started!
