🌿 Why Does Mint Feel Cold… Even When It’s Not? 🧊

You pop a mint in your mouth… and suddenly it feels like you’re in Murree in December ❄️
But the twist is:
👉 The mint isn’t actually cold.
👉 Your mouth’s temperature hasn’t changed.

So what’s really happening?

It’s all thanks to a smart little molecule called Menthol — a compound found in mint.
Menthol activates TRPM8 receptors, the same receptors in your mouth and skin that detect cold temperatures.
