🌋 I can see this active Volcano from my workshop Whakaari/White Island—a place of breathtaking beauty but also profound tragedy. Almost five years ago, on December 9, 2019, its eruption claimed 22 lives and left 25 others injured, making headlines worldwide.
To help build a much-needed memorial, I'll be performing alongside other talented musicians at the Whakaari Waiata Concert on December 7th, a fundraiser to mark the 5th anniversary.

Help Date This Mystery Strat! 🕵️♂️🎸 : My Guess Late 50's early 60's
This Strat with serial number 08174 came into the shop, with some serious wear! It’s got the 4 neck bolts with slotted screws (not Phillips). I couldn’t get too many shots before it left, but I’m hoping there are some vintage Strat experts out there who might have some clues. Any thoughts on its year or history? Can you Beat My "Most Crazy Gig Story?" 🎸🍻
I was playing a bar gig when a group of Navy officers came in, and things got loose fast! One guy took off his prosthetic leg and handed it to our drummer, who actually used it to play a song. Then, a Female Navy officer grabbed the leg and downed an entire beer from it! 🤘😆 You can imagine what the rest of the night was like!

Guess who stopped by? Steven Diggle’s Telecaster from the Buzzcocks! They’re touring here, and his guitar needed some running repairs. This Tele must have some wild stories from the stage! 🔧✨
