I managed to insulate the greenhouse and move all the citrus trees in to protect them from the frost tonight. I’ve also protected the in-ground clementine tree and taken all the bananas and other tropicals into the house. I’ll make some videos in the coming days about some of the cold protection methods I’m using this year. The Musa basjoo is unprotected but I will be covering it soon as well.

It's been another lovely hot sunny day today. I cleaned up the Musa basjoo, removing all the dead outer leaves to expose the nice green pseudostems. My latest update I filmed the other day is here if you haven't seen it already: https://youtu.be/HLLIdu5A-hY

I got some bananas and colocasias planted in the front garden today. Hopefully, they will take off over the next few weeks 🤞
