Summer is arriving in Germany and it is the perfect time to pick up the acoustic guitar and enjoy some beautiful chords and melodies. Actually, it is always a good time to do that, but I certainly feel that extra bit of motivation.
I hope you do too!



I have been working on a lot of arrangements recently. Some are finished, most of them need some final touches.
I find myself going back and forth between songs (you probably know that "state of mind") and sometimes I am unable to decide what I want to feature here on my Youtube channel.

So, I decided to give that last decision to YOU and created a poll.



1. Vivo Sonhando

This is a rather unknown song by Jobim with many of his trademark compositional techniques.

The arrangement will be for beginner to intermediate level guitarists featuring lots of open string voicings and a relaxed medium tempo with some nice rhythms.



2. Wave

One of Jobims most famous songs. It features a 12 bar A-Part that follows the song form of the blues while the B-Part is a repetition of II-V-I-movements. This arrangement will be for advanced players with a fairly fast tempo and lots of jazzy chord voicings.



3. Summertime

...as I said earlier, Summer is here and so is this famous evergreen. There are many, many ways to play this song. I decided to arrange it in a rather classical way with a fingerpicking pattern to guide through the song. It is a ballad, so the tempo will be slow and suitable for intermediate players (some tricky fingerings were unavoidable).
