So...2024. I'm not gonna lie when I say I think this has been one of, if not, my most packed year in recent memory. My friend group @MutekiDubs, released our first three fandub projects (of which I was in the first two), I switched branches at my job, I got started on my first magical girl franchise which I'm looking forward to watching more of in the new year...and I also broke up with my first partner.
I hit 800 followers over on Twitter, though with how far that place fell this year, I've had to permanently switch over to Bluesky and Threads. I may have not uploaded as much here as I wanted to this year, but I did hit 2000 subscribers and started therapy to work on my mental health, so I'd say that's a pretty big win in my book.
To say the very least, this has been a year of many ups and downs, but the downs were eased by the incredible support of my dubbing group friends whom I've only grown closer with, and not to mention I've made new friends along the way - @brevin630, Stacey & Bee among them. Y’all are a chaotic bunch but this year wouldn't have been the same without ya!
Even with the looming danger for my American friends brought about by certain news early last month, I'm hoping 2025 will be an overall positive year, both for me and my friends that I hold dear to me.
