I remember wanting to capture Hotel Beaumier Michelin Star Chef NoĆ«l BĆ©rard as part of my SCAD Alumni Atelier project in Lacoste last summer. My goal was to use my painting talents to meld the people of the Provence landscape into a series of portraits. In so doing, I made a slight return to painting life-size. It was an exciting reminder that I love making large scale paintings and portrait commissions. Hereās to many more overwhelmingly paintings!
