Abbas is a Health Economist with the PURPOSE of adding openness and transparency to decision-making within the healthcare system.
This channel looks at HOW and WHY health economics is applied to healthcare. It will also discuss relationships between and within New Zealand health sector organisations.
At the heart of health economics, Abbas stands by his core values that help drive his purpose. These include a willingness and drive for continuous and open communication, a commitment to education, learning and teaching, a commitment to applying Treaty of Waitangi principles, and the explicit inclusion of multidisciplinary teams across all work.
