It's because of the resurrection that we know our hope and faith are not misplaced. Jesus truly is alive and at the right hand of the Father!!
I'm currently reading the personal accounts of eyewitnesses to Jesus' life & death beyond the Bible (found in the Vatican library.) Ciaphas' resignation letter upon discovering that He caused to be crucified the Son of God, the one they were all expecting. Pilate and his point of view. An interview with the shepherds from Bethlehem, and interviews with Mary and Joseph. Not scripture, possibly not factual, but what they and the Bible have in common is the FACT that Jesus has conquered the grave by shedding His blood so that we can be forgiven.
He is risen!! And one day, we will see Him face to face.

Hey, y'all! Sorry I've been away, but I'm working about 5 hours a day to get ready for sheetrock at age 42 and I'm tired. I do have another house update video coming soon, though.
Dawn and I are going to one day find the time to record together... maybe summer?
I've recently started trying some new things diet wise, "ketobiotic." I learned that I went through burnout, the shutdown and self-preservation instinct that kicked in called the "freeze" nervous system theory. I'm now regaining my stamina! I could not have worked this hard a month or two ago. It wasn't in me.
I'm ready for this building phase to be over. Y'all, please pray that I can endure!! ❤️ We have so many things to share with you!

From April: It hurts me to say this, but I have to take a break from YouTube for my own mental health. YT isn't the cause of the issue, it's just the easiest thing to offload. If you are curious and want to follow my personal story over the next few months, I'll be blogging every Wednesday. I'm beginning The Catharsis Series. I'm a writer at heart. It's the way I can express myself best, and once I put it into words, it seems easier to bear. Crying on video is embarrassing. If I cry as I type, nobody knows.
This is the first installment of the blog series. No new videos from now until after the new year. I've tried to keep YT about you, the viewer, and what you might like to see from us. The blog is more personal and far less focused. It's more like my personal journal entry for the week.

Dawn and April share what God is doing in their lives, how their health is changing/improving as they go through perimenopause, and what's working/not working. Be entertained and encouraged! April was carnivore for almost 3 years, Dawn is currently ketovore/keto. That way stopped working for April, so now she's just trying to find what will work.
We're still meat-focused, and of course, still following Christ, so even though we are no longer "Carnivore Christians" I think you'll still be entertained and encouraged. Plus, the website and everything is too much of a pain to change, lol.
