I got hit with the flu, so we are a little late on the next video. It should be done tomorrow! I painted this today because I am so tired of sitting on the couch, being sick is completely boring.! I used the floral stencil and the new birds and butterfly stencil, which will be available on my website February 5.! This was fun and easy, even when you have minimal energy and a foggy brain due to the flu!
Did you see the new video? I painted my entire fridge using this stencil! Yesterday in the membership group, we started this canvas with the same stencil. The method is called isolated learning, which means you focus on one aspect of painting at a time. I used chalk to create the basic lines with the stencil, and hand painted the rest, focusing on blending highlights and shadows. A lot more fun for a beginner like me. Would you ever try something like this ? The stencil is new, I designed it in collaboration with Jami Ray vintage. They are oversized for furniture and intended to be used as a traditional stencil, or for this hand painted look, you can find them on my site.🩷
