This channel is mainly to support the Primary Curriculum and the concepts outlined in it. With my training and practice in creating lessons, developing teaching resources and delivering teaching/learning experiences based on the National Standards Curriculum (NSC), I consider myself very equipped to host such a platform.
As a Mathematics Coach operating in Jamaica, and having honed the manner in which I support teachers to allow our students to explore mathematical concepts, I find it very significant to start a channel where I explore math in different ways while students are encouraged to exercise critical thinking skills. With the Primary Exit Profile (PEP) being the national assessment for the upper primary school, I work quite closely with schools to prepare their students in being successful in the undertaking of this exam. You, my valued followers, are urged to post in the comment section, any concept you would like to be explored next.
