Sitting here getting sentimental for a second after a good week in many ways.
It hits me that this song may have changed my life. First time I heard it was not long after a business professor was trying to convince me that I had a future in sales and marketing cause I was a natural orator.
Thought about it hard cause I wasn't feeling my original major (journalism). Discovered this song cause the Echoes compilation album was all over the place in the early 2000s and I remember one of my favorite high school teachers Mr. Wendorf playing Dark Side of the moon and Wizard of Oz in class one day at the end of the school year for fun. I remember not getting the big deal but I liked a few songs.
So I buy Echoes cause I'm in that phase of trying new music in college. And I listened to this song 1 million times. And then I finally LISTENED to it and imagined myself in it...
Following semester I switched to Mass communications... Yada yada yada, Drake V Kendrick review coming Friday hopefully

Can't look at this man the same after this. Even if the allegations from Drake are false (which I'm personally inclined to believe they are) but this is a level of diabolical that only happens movies.
As you sit back and really look over what happened yesterday. That was legitimate 4D Chess... In real life. Not a meme, in real life. He didn't just get Drake's Ozempic prescription yesterday, he's had that in the hole. Did he see this coming when he sent in the verse for Like That? What else did this man do in the two weeks he was quiet?
Even if somehow all of that is fake (Akademiks confirmed them to be real though), even the idea to plan this elaborate of a ruse is anime villain sh!t.
A lot of rappers say "im different"... But Kendrick is a different type of different. He called Drake a master manipulator but... That statement seems paradoxical now.

It's gonna be interesting when the layers of this one unfurl cause I imagine that Drake hears a very different song than we did. And I think that picture of the glove is not by accident.
