I used to always wonder why I could never hear from God the way other people would describe it. You know when someone would say God told me to do this, buy this, or move somewhere across the planet lol. I was like hmm am I missing something 🤔😅.
Don’t get me wrong, I would know if God was leading me somewhere by having peace, but I was like I want clear directions haha. I remember one day in church I went up for prayer and I said I need direction. Phew 😮💨 God said aight cool. One thing about God is he doesn’t do things half way, he is thorough. Not only has He given me direction, He has provided a church and community that teaches me how to pray and to not only read the Bible but to understand that God also desires for you to have revelation of His word.
When I began to understand this, God has not stopped giving me CLEAR instructions. Like it’s actually quite funny how He shares things sometimes. But one verse that I’ve held onto when spending time with God is “Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” Jeremiah 33:3. I literally pray and I say “hey God share your secrets with me,” and each time I’m 🤯.
You may be like this girl sounds crazy lol. But try it. With a genuine heart, pray and ask God hey share your secrets with me and open my heart to see and accept what you are sharing. Don’t limit how God speaks to you. Listen He can speak through dreams, songs, and like the most ‘random’ things lol so don’t dismiss what He is sharing with you! This is why I smile so hard during worship because God literally is just so good I can’t even explain ☺️. Love y’all ❤️

29 ✨ 🎉Last year, I can’t lie, I was little down around the time of my birthday. I remember feeling overwhelmed and one night I had a dream where I was drowning and God literally said stand up. When I stood up, the water was only up to my ankles 😅🥴. From that moment, things changed in a big way. God told me it was going to be a transformative year, but I just didn’t know what that meant lol. I remember recording this video (second post) and just declaring that God is going to do everything in His perfect time! Phew, I had no idea that God would begin to give me CLEAR directions on things he wanted for me and open doors that I didn’t even imagine were possible. Y’all I’m still crying my eyes out at some of the things He is doing and has done😭. Today, I’m just so grateful. I’m grateful that I serve a God who cares for me even when I don’t, who loves me enough to silence my doubts and fears, and is patient with me (even when I can be caught up in doing things my way 🙃). But today I got to spend the first half of my birthday in church and just be thankful for God allowing me to see another year of life. Y’all I’m excited 😆. Like super excited. So I pray that if you’re reading this that you give God a chance because He will seriously blow your mind 🤯.

This is how I’m going into this new week! Smile because you know God goes before you! Walk boldly knowing that He is your protector. Trust that He is a God of His Word and because of that you don’t need to live in fear. Love y’all and have a great week!

Wow this was good! A lot of good scriptures referenced, too! I’ve been saying this for a while now but the enemy doesn’t want kingdom marriages and will try to put so much misinformation to deceive and delay. But, my prayer is that we be keen to the Holy Spirit and study the Word of God. Hope this video encourages and convicts you like it did for me!
