Founded in 2001, CIMSA has always put forward its activities that have long been viewed as a way to enable young people with a desire to make a difference in the community. We remain as committed as ever to empowering medical students and improving nation's health.
Since 2002, CIMSA has been affiliated with the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA) which is recognized by the WHO as the international forum for medical students. This brings CIMSA to think globally and act locally.
Through four core programs of CIMSA which are capacity building, activities, advocacy, and research, CIMSA works in the focus areas related to public health, sexual & reproductive health and rights including HIV & AIDS, human rights and peace, professional & research student exchange, and medical education. In essence, with years of experience in these works, we believe we could create a healthier, more secure, and more prosperous Indonesia.
