The International Federation of Robotics (IFR) started its first CEO Roundtable discussion at the AUTOMATICA in Munich in 2010. Since then this event has established itself as a firm press event of IFR. Experts of companies dealing with robots discuss relevant topics like technology, markets and challenges of robotics.
In addition, IFR publishes statements and reports on latest robotic topics and market information according to the World Robotics reports.
The International Federation of Robotics was established in 1987 in connection with the 17th International Symposium on Robotics ISR as a non-profit organisation by robotics organisations from over 20 countries. The purpose of IFR shall be to promote and strengthen the robotics industry worldwide, to protect its business interests, to cause public awareness about robotics technologies and to deal with other matters of relevance to its members.
