This channel is produced as a loving tribute to Louis Rodgers snr. the head of a music family spanning over 50 years in the music business. Management, Touring, Promotion, A&R, Radio & Television Promotion, Recording Artists. Louis Rodgers was born in Warrenpoint, Co. Down N. Ireland.
He became an impresario, and toured top UK acts in Ireland including, Michael Holiday,Anne Shelton, Alma Cogan, Eddie Calvert, Billy Fury, Adam Faith and The John Barry Seven. In 1962 he moved to England and expanded his business 'Rodgers Enterprises' to include the UK and Europe, he toured American artistes including The Drifters, Ben E. King, The Chiffons, Tommy Edwards, The Orlons, Hank Locklin, Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash, The Carter Family, Carl Perkins, Del Reeves & Little Jimmy Dickens..
He retired to return to Warrenpoint N. Ireland with his beloved wife Gertie in the mid 1980s.
He was an charismatic and inspirational man much loved by his Family and friends and the artistes who toured for him..
