Exciting news: we're back, and with new videos! Thanks to our friends on the Puella Care Project, we now have access to a beta version of a fan-made Magia Record player, Totentanz, that we can use to record new English-text videos on! To celebrate, we have several new videos to show off, including the long-awaited Arc 2 Chapter 11!
For those interested in Totentanz, the project has just released a public beta. It functions similarly to the old Magia Translate app, but without an account system in place yet, so it functionally has a super account with all characters and stories pre-unlocked. The download link can be found on the Magia Record subreddit if anyone is curious.

As of today, Magia Record has officially ended service. We're very sad to see it go (I'm fighting back tears as I type this), but we're sending it off with a fond farewell. Goodbye, official server. We knew you, we loved you, and we'll hold you within our hearts.
But we at Magia Union Translations aren't done with the story just yet. As long as there remain untranslated stories, our work will continue. While video production may go through a bit of a delay while we figure out new ways to record without the official app, we already have plans in the works, and we also have more videos already recorded and in the pipeline that we're looking forward to sharing with you. For a start, over the next week we'll be releasing a series of re-recorded videos of content originally from the NA server days, now in better quality than ever.
We're also happy to share that Arc 2 Chapter 9 is finished! Unfortunately, we're having some unusual copyright difficulties with the upload, so it may take a bit of time to get it up on youtube, but in the meantime, please check it out on our backup drive!

Magia Record has recently announced it will be shutting down on July 31, 2024. Magia Union Translations remains dedicated to seeing the full game translated, no matter what happens to the state of the game in the meantime. We're still working on exactly how we'll deal with recording post-closure, but we have several ideas in mind and rest assured that we will continue to maintain this account and post translated videos, one way or another.
We don't expect any problems, but just in case the copyrights go a little wonky again around the closure and anything happens to the account, we want to let everyone know that we maintain a backup drive of our videos here:

Thank you all for your support over the years, and for your continued support from now on! This game has been truly special to all of us here at MUT, and we've been so happy to give back to the community and share our translations with all of you. We hope to send Magia Record off with a fond farewell, and to keep the community going with continued translations until every story has been translated, no matter how long it takes.

An update on our Lyric Videos:
Both "Cinis" and "A Flash of Light" have been copyright blocked now. While copyright claims on our story videos can be easily disputed and released, our attempt to dispute the claim on "Cinis" resulted in that video being taken down and our channel being given a temporary strike (and we do not want to take the same risk with "A Flash of Light").
We may upload updated, alternate versions that can bypass the claims someday, but in the meantime, we also have the lyric videos uploaded on our Google Drive here: drive.google.com/drive/folders/1b0UvdiciUp091Re0eP…

It's the 3rd anniversary of Magia Union Translations! Can you believe it? To celebrate our birthday, along with the 6th anniversary of the game and an ever-higher subscriber count, we'd like to share another wonderful art piece from SerenDark!

A big thanks to everyone in the community for making this project what it is today. We've blown so far past all of our initial humble expectations, it truly feels magical. We've got even more translations in the works, so stay tuned, we look forward to doing this for a long time yet to come!

With summer here, another anniversary will soon be upon us. No, not that anniversary. MUT will be 3 years into its efforts to keep this game translated on September 3rd, and as you might have heard, we have another event planned ourselves!
For the rest of June, we will be collecting reader questions to answer on this year's UnionRepo.
• Questions should be mostly about translation of the game, though we do like some fun questions too.
• This year we want both thought out questions, as well as tougher questions. Main Story where!! Why is Alina Italian? Is there a story we utterly hate...!? Make us sweat this summer by submitting both a nice question, and a spicy question in the same response.

This is the official YouTube channel of Magia Union Translations, a community dedicated to translating the mobile game Magia Record. The official English server may have been discontinued, but we won't let that stop us! Our goal is to translate the entire game into English, and record the translated story in video form so that it can be enjoyed by everyone. This channel serves as the collection of the content that has been translated and recorded by various individuals, so that it can all be found in one place.
If you're interested in learning more, check out our links! The Master Translation Spreadsheet tracks the status of all translation efforts and includes links, even to translations that aren't in video form yet. We've also got Discord links to the Magia Union Translations server (we welcome everyone, even if you just wanna hang out) and the Rayshift.io server (which originally developed the app that we use to play the JP game with our English translations).
