HOW TO INFUSE HERBS IN OIL!
There are several methods you can use to infuse herbs in oils:
1. Solar Infusion: Place herbs in a clear glass jar with oil, seal, and set it in direct sunlight for several weeks, allowing the sun's warmth to infuse the herbs into the oil.
2. Double Boiler: Heat the herbs and oil in a double boiler on low heat, infusing the oil over a longer period while avoiding direct heat.
3. Cold Infusion: Combine herbs and oil in a jar and allow them to infuse at room temperature for several weeks, shaking the jar daily.
4. Oven Method: Place herbs and oil in an oven-safe dish, cover with foil, and heat at a low temperature for several hours.
5. Crockpot Infusion: Use a slow cooker on low heat to infuse herbs and oil over several hours.
6. Microwave Infusion: While less common, you can microwave herbs and oil in short bursts to infuse the oil quickly.
Once you are done infusing the herbs, strain the herbs from the oil and store your herbal oil in a cool, dark place.
