Valerie Dawn here and I'm super excited to show you creative and fun crafting projects. Knitting, crochet, embroidery, quilting, and more. My Mom taught me to knit and crochet when I was so young, 3 or 4 years old, I don't remember learning. When I wanted a toy sewing machine like my school friend, she taught me to sew on her real sewing machine.
I have a passion for natural fibres like wool, cotton, alpaca, and silk. Creating my own designs and patterns are as much fun as creating the final project. Nothing compares to the special thrill of planning, gathering the materials, and diving into a new creation! So many projects, so little time!
It's ok to be slow when learning new skills, and practice makes perfect. I would derive great joy from being able to inspire you just as my Mom did all those years ago, as she instilled in me a passion for a fulfilling lifelong pastime.
