On Sunday June 12th, I'm finally flying out to San Diego to spread my Mom's ashes near Coronado Beach. We were supposed to do this multiple times over the last few years, but each time the global situation got in the way. Will actually be my first flight in more than 3 years. I'll be gone 5 days to visit family, but will have some videos up while I'm gone, including Immortal Empires info on June 14th (when Tuesday Newsday makes its triumphant return). Health insurance in the United States of America is broken lol. I had a 10 minute video call to set up a routine procedure (Endoscopy) on January 11th, and just got a bill for $500. Five Hundred Dollars.....for a phone call. I'll be fine. But imagine being in dire financial straits, and some obscenely rich Insurance conglomerate in bed with the government is gouging you in the exact same way. You're paying 600 to 1000 bucks a month for cut rate insurance that doesn't protect you, and you're getting charged 500 dollars for a phone call. I feel like a 70 year old Grandma posting on social media for the first time. Thanks to Spiffing Brit for pointing out the flaws in Youtube's algorithm, now lets see if it actually leads to anything and if it will be fixed soon. It probably already has.
