Mongol flood warfare & hush mining... dig it.
I have dropped knowledge on these 2 concepts WAY back, buried in some older vids of mine here on the youtubes. One is an ancient military tactic & the other, an ancient method of mining.
Stick around if you want to see how a variation (or combination) of these 2 tactics were - in my humble opinion - used in relatively modern times, on ANCIENT ruins along the Niagara River, specifically at Niagara Falls.
I'm still building a case & following up on many facets & leads, but when I do pull the trigger, it will be difficult to refute.

1st mechanical water intake crib/pier for the city of Buffalo. Located smack dab in the middle of the Niagara River, almost directly under the Peace Bridge. Completed in 1874, & sitting at a water depth averaging ~17ft, the crib is unique to any other water intake structure/system on all of the Great Lakes due to the constant 8-14 mph current that it is constantly contending with.
Linked to the American shore via a pair of tunnels that go through the bedrock, under the old Erie Canal, & underneath the river bed itself, this stoic sentinel used to be manned in order to keep ice blockages from occurring in the winter months, prior to the implementation of the Lake Erie Ice Boom.
A marvel of engineering it must've been too behold. I've spent the last few years trying to find the schematics & construction details of the crib itself, but have only been able to find articles (of the time) that detail only the excavation of & for the tunnels. **Let me repeat that.. I have struck out in trying to find exactly how that structure was erected in that time period, under those conditions.**
In my sleuthing, I have pretty much put myself through college level courses of study of hydraulic coffer dam & caisson construction. That said, it has been more than difficult to find data that details hydraulic implementation of coffer dams & caissons in such a strong, relentless current.
This is just 1 of a myriad of other historical anomalies in & around the city of Buffalo. All have my attention, & all will be addressed in due time. Thats 💯

If you like history & have questions outside of the bookends & curricula of mainstream academia, & if you are keen on finding a professional way around the bottle-necks of pier-review & the Dunning Kruger by default modus operandi of higher learning, you might like Berserking History.
*MISSION STATEMENT* I look into the past from a different angle than most & through the lens of my faith in God. I research history, ancient anomalies, riddles in the water & the esoteric mysteries laced in the landscape of, around, throughout & under the city I was born & raised in: Buffalo NY. Which I believe is an ancient city with human habitation of intelligent culture dating as far back as 1k BC & possibly further. To which I use old academic books from my inherited family library, along with maps & atlases, & in conjunction with fieldwork & interweb-research I synthesize, distill & present my findings & opinions here on YouTube & over on Instagram.
