Rose Rovine E Amanti is a musical project created in 2001 by Damiano Mercuri and turned into a Christian dark-folk band.
GUEST MUSICIANS:
Noemi York on keyboard voice and accordion; Lucio Leone and Daniele Befanucci drums; Pamela Gargiuto violin and voice; Giuseppe Lorenzoni violin and keyboard.
THE SOUND:
has changed through the years from an Low-fi Avant-garde neo-folk to a wider range of sounds. Currently the music is a mixture of acoustic neo-rock-folk and neo-classic sounds.
THEMES:
RREA is inspired by religious themes and the feeling of tragedy, decay and apocalypse of the XX century full of wars and sickness; also nature rain and beautiness, as gifts of God, are strongly inspiring the music.
