This young yogi has been a major contributor in the promotion of yoga in Hong Kong. He had imparted yoga training for 10 years to prepare the infrastructural ground for yoga in HongKong, due to which Yoga is quite popular in Hongkong. Besides, he has promoted yoga in Russia, Mongolia and China as well. He is regularly invited in these countries for yoga camps and seminars. In the year 2016, on the occasion of International Yoga Day, Dr. Varunveer was the chief guest in China
Varunveer started practicing yoga at the age of 9. Later he completed his master's degree in the field of yoga and he was awarded degree of ‘doctorate’ from Gurukul Kangri University, Haridwar India.
His books are "Yoga is life" and "Research Methodology of Yogic Science"
His notable works in expansion and promotion of yoga have been highly appreciated in India and abroad. He has been awarded the 'Hong Kong Foundation Award' for organizing the first aid camps in Kumbh
