My Story of "First Meeting Flite Test" or "How I Learned to Love the RC Hobby Again"
I have been making scratch built remote control projects since the eighth grade. I have spends months building a project only to have it become a “5 minute hobby” (I crashed). I would give up the hobby for a while and restart again only to have the same outcome.
In the spring of 2021, my son and I went to the Flite Test Swap meet in Minerva, Ohio. We met the great staff at Flite Test, purchased two Flite Test Micro Airliner Electric RTF Airplanes, built the planes on site, (they even scavenge batteries for us) and successfully flew them all within a hour. My RC hobby experience was changed forever. These planes can be built quickly, modified on the fly, and because the electronic stabilization, fly great, and best of all your do not have to spend an arm and a leg.
Hopefully, with the Hacks, Tips & Tricks you learn here, you can answer “YES, I DID” when someone says to you, “You Made That Fly?”
