just had a busy week lately..pasensya na at medjo matatagalan ang mamaw cuda trip namin...wag kayo mag.alala at babawi ako sa inyo...meron tayo upcoming video this sunday...

that big silver equiped with sharp teeth that could easily rip chords from jigs and snap even the most expensive fishing leader lines in an instant. can't wait to be finish this video asap...

i'm so glad to be back again on this island tough no fish was caught there. still it was a good offshore, island hopping, to shore casting fishing trip. fishing was good on fresh bait and small lures.

another one for the books. first ladyfish of the year. they came in late for season but nothing's changed about this fish's power. this one tops the meter becoming my heaviest fish of the year 13.2lb, for now...

this is the 3rd time i fished this prestine river of Calbiga, Western Samar..1st and 2nd attempt was a combination of lures, live, and fresh bait shrimps. main target was PNG black bass or any kind of ace predators that roam the long river. up to this time i still have no luck of seeing one in person. only stories from the fishermen that lives near this beautiful river. landing one will take time. this long and wide river will take much effort and time to find the perfect spot and hook up at least one rivermonster for the purpose of confirming the existence of PNG black bass.
to sum up, it was a good and relaxing session landing the common fish that lives all the stretch of the river, the goby, whiting, huge prawn, and the fish known in the Philippines as "ibis". live and fresh shrimp was the perfect bait to use.

was so stoked to be out fishing for the whole day with a friend of mine. experienced everything from pier fishing, bridge fishing, rivermouth casting, road side casting, offshore fishing, trollinf, micro jigging, fishing on a deserted island and being stranded out in the dark sea for at least an hour after running out of fuel on our way back to mainland. hoping to finish this video soon.

i was not able to go out and fish for a week because i was isolated/quarantined for having asnomia(loss of sense of smell). asnomia is a common symptom of having covid 19. i can't smell anything. yesterday i was discharged since my swab test turned out NEGATIVE. guess what?...my asnomia is not related to covid 19 and i should see an E.N.T. a.s.ap.
and now that i am out again and since Youtube officially declared that i have succefully reached the 1000 subs mark, i will be releasing a full session video of my first monster ladyfishes(yes, 2 ladyfish unlock) hopefully today. that fish on the picture was caught last year same day as today, september 19.
