I would like to thank Katmama for donating to spay one of my colony females, gas to get there/back, and a brand new scale (Amazon list) to monitor weight and health of the indoor colony. I also want to thank Yazzie for keeping their tummies full with Friskies canned food (Amazon list). Thank you both so very much! An update on the spay will be posted soon! In light of the recent "disruption" of our Community by that other content creator and her "flying monkeys," I would like to offer the opportunity of doing another "healing stream.""
I have heard from some of you that these ongoing attacks from said creator are incredibly triggering and upsetting. So, I would like to offer everyone a safe space to talk things through and work through the issues.

So this morning I went out to feed the colony in the dark, as usual and saw a bag on my porch. At first I thought "Oh great, someone left a pooh bag" I went to pick it up so I could put it in the bin - and it was clearly NOT pooh! It was 4 cans of Special Kitty food!! Some nice person crept up in the night or very early early and quietly left it. They had to know I would be coming out to feed soon. No name, no note, nothing. I asked my nearby friend, but she didn't do it. It feels like someone who doesn't have a lot to share but wants to help in any small way (and doesn't want any recognition). That is Amazing, and whoever it is - Thank You! It's the small things sometimes. Okay friends, I'm well and truly off to do a bunch. Have a great day! ~Dawn

I got a promo from Petsmart to create a free mug from Shutterfly. So, of course, I had to design an official Armchair (Cat)Advocate mug. Designing it also got me thinking about possible merch ideas.😉

Dawn and I are committed to keeping this channel transparent, so I want to share some analytics with everyone.
We now have the necessary subs, but we still need the watch hours. We're getting there, but we were majorly set back by the other content creator.
Again, we offer receipts and proof of how this person's vindictive, petty attacks on the channel negatively impacted our progress.
Just look at the watch hours for July and August (when the attacks began), and you can see how much we lost. Most of that time, I had the channel hidden. No one was watching, and countless hours were lost. I calculated the watch hours, and I believe if the content creator hadn't attacked the channel, we would now be monetized.
We'll get there. But, it's a shame that the content creator has not had to face any consequences from YouTube. Personally, I feel YouTube should ban her from the platform or, at the very least, demonetize her. YouTube really needs better policies to address this kind of abuse.
