Some updates are in order for my subscribers:
- first off, an apology. I didn’t intend to take a nearly month long break from posting on my channel, but here I am 20 days since posting. I’ve been in a creative funk with my content and decided to put my energy into reading more and focusing on other aspects of life. I’m 25 and when I started my channel I was 20. So much has changed in the past 5 years of my life and growing in my content is a balance I’m still learning to navigate. What hasn’t changed is my love for books and my love for posting videos talking about books. I’m sorry for the sparsity in posting, but I’m also happy for the highs in my life rn that fill my time while I’m away from y’all.
- second, the good things. I’m not planning to leave YouTube!! I have many ideas brewing in my head that I know I’ll soon have the time and mental space to execute. I want to get back to my fav kind of content: reviews, book talks, and vlogs. I’m buying my first house (!!! Adult things I didn’t have to worry about at 20!!) and will get to have my dream library. I plan to take you on that journey with me. I want to create podcast style videos and have been looking into mics and all that! I long for the days when I have the set up I want for my library and my house moved in and furnished and I can finally set my camera up and film that first video in a fresh space and dive back into how my channel once was. Those days are coming and I hope you can bear with me until then.
- finally, a thank you. To anyone that may have took time to read this, to everyone that’s ever subscribed, to those that comment daily even though I’m not posting a lot and bring me so much happiness: thank you. All 12,255 of those subscribed, whether you see this or not, thank you for being a part of this channel I’ve created that is one of the things I can truly say makes myself proud.
