A home-based musician, playing and recording music created using keyboards, synthesizers and electric guitar.
Started learning the organ under teacher guidance 1969 through 1976, whilst teaching myself guitar through much the same period. Self-taught about recording and production through the 1980s, together with much study around electronics and computer interfacing via MIDI, with a 'slightly reduced focus' on playing skills through the 1990s.
Returned to learning guitar under teacher guidance 2007 through 2011, with continued electronic music development and production continuing through the 2020s. Undertook some more 'rigorous'(?) theory studies and keyboard practice in 2022 and beyond.
Enjoy lots of music styles... but prefer to play pop, rock and jazz standards ('Great American Songbook', 'Real Book', etc) and 'classical' works (keyboards) and instrumental surf, rock and blues tunes (guitar, etc).
