i’m finally on summer break!!!
I’ve been holding this off for too long but i think it’s finally time to tell you guys that i’m moving barns. This has been such a hard decision to make and it’s taken and while but it’s official, i had my last lesson today and my first lesson at my new barn tomorrow. I really want to improve and jump higher and show at angelstone (if you know it) and to do that I had to switch barns as my current one doesn’t offer what i need. I love this barn so much so it was very difficult to do this but i knew it was necessary for my progress.
Though this means i also have to leave monty, i’m going to miss him so so much, he’s been the best horse to me and has taken care of me so well and i’m so grateful for him. It hurts so much knowing that i’ll never be able to ride him again but i will definitely visit him along with the other horses.
Thank you so much for everyones support in my riding journey and i’m really excited to see where this takes me.

we were riding a line and i took a long to the out and he was super fresh coz he hadn’t been ridden in a week and just ducked his head down which i was NOT expecting coz he used to do it all the time but never rlly tried it w me but i’m completely fine and the lesson ended rlly well 😂 i think he knew i needed a little wake up call

i’m so grateful for every day i have spent with you. We have grown so much together, from bringing me to my first show (and getting champion!!), to having a bad fall which resulted in a concussion and a loss of confidence, but then slowly regaining it and coming back better than ever. You have taught me lessons no one else could teach me, Im the person I am today because of you. You have been the absolute best horse to me and i’m so thankful for you. We may have had our ups and downs but as long as i’m with you I’m always happiest. I trust you with my entire life and more. You mean the world to me Monty.
