It is part and parcel of the human condition to grow and expand with the universe. To stifle growth is to assume that the universe can't keep up with each human soul's expansion within the enclothement of his or her blessed, annointed and appointed bodily form.
Why some want to contract the universal human soul awareness expansion path of destiny is a question residing deep within that oppressive mentality which one day must answer before the Ane Sofe/Infinite Creator.
