It's a bit late, but thank you everyone for 10,000 subscribers!

I want to mention that I am working on a video currently, and while don't have an ETA quite yet, it's going to be a very interesting one.

Also, apologies for the lack of activity in the past year. I have not abandoned this channel; I just haven't had much time to work on longer projects.

Thanks again,

Hey everyone,

Apologies for being a little bit absent from this channel. But, I'd like to know something: if I were to upload a video regarding some research I've been doing (the Columbine cafeteria bombs), would you rather I post it to this channel or my second channel? I'll put a poll with this post.

My prime focus has been on this research video, which although wasn't all that demanding voiceover-wise, the editing wasn't facile, and I wanted the final product to seem more like a video and less like a livestream snippet.

My next post should be whenever I chose and/or get underway on a new animation.

Thanks for sticking around,

Hi everyone!

I just want start by saying that no, I have not figured out what my next animation is going to be on. I took a break from animating, and I do apologize for my overall inactivity lately. I have been researching a decent amount, though, but I can't completely gauge whether or not an animation would pan out with just research.

As for the research I've done, after the Erfurt animation, I started heavily researching the Myyrmanni bombing. I tried to render a model of the affected area of the mall, but it was too difficult, so I stopped and moved on (I may revisit it sometime). I began to look into animation potentials: Kerch, Isla Vista, and the Toronto van attack. I will likely attempt to animate these to some degree. Also on my list to revisit from the past is Hungerford. There are a few others that I have looked/need to look into, but I can't think of them off the top of my head.

Also, I've been debating making a few research-heavy videos regarding Columbine, namely the 911 call project I did a while back. I'll most likely post these on my second channel, just to keep this channel solely animations, but I'll make a post like this linking it if/when I do post one of these videos.

I'll try and post updates more frequently so it doesn't look like I've completely disappeared.

Well, today's the day: I finally finished animation!

In summary, I added as many uninjured staff and students as I could, as well as their movements (some more specific than others). I also fixed some animations and made some things a bit more realistic. So, now it's time to work on the voiceover.

As for a release timeframe, judging by what I've gotten done thus far, it looks like there's a good chance it'll be out this year. But, I'm not going to guarantee anything. It's definitely gone a lot quicker than Virginia Tech did.

I plan on posting another update in two or four weeks, like I described in my previous post.

Update:

In the past month, I've re-done the hallway and stairwell floor colors/design to make it more accurate to how the school was. I also added desks with chairs, and fixed issues with my first-pass animation. I'm currently working on adding uninjured and possible injured people. This is going to be difficult, like I said in my last post, but I'm going to at least give it my best shot.

I'll post another update in either two or four weeks, depending on how much progress I've made. If this doesn't seem like a lot of progress, keep in mind that I rotate between various projects so I don't get burned out of any one project.

Hi everyone!

I'm excited to announce my next project, which is the 2002 Erfurt school massacre. I will not be giving even an estimate of when it'll be out, because I don't want to go way past the deadline like with Virginia Tech. All I can say currently is that the rough animation of the event is done.

What this means I have the basis of the animation done, such as the shooter's path, shell casings, and victims. What's next are things like bystanders/uninjured students, furnishings of the school, and other miscellaneous improvements. This is often the most challenging and time-consuming part, but it improves the quality significantly. If you want to see what I'm talking about, just look at my MSD animation and compare it with the Virginia Tech one. The quality jump is staggering in my opinion.

Also, I've been debating making these kind of channel "updates" more frequent, possibly monthly or something like every other week when I've announced a project. When I haven't announced a project, I'd like to use them for research updates. What do you guys think?

Hey everyone. I know this may not be the post you've been looking for or anything, but I feel the need to post it. I'm sure you've already heard, but it's come to my attention that a fellow content creator and animator, Mass Attack Media, has passed away.

I'm honestly shocked and saddened by this news. While I didn't know him outside of a "professional" environment, and the only contact I had with him was through email (most of which was throughout this past month), I enjoyed his content and admired the sheer amount of research and dedication he put into his videos. It truly is a tragedy that he's gone, and I'm going to miss him a lot.

If you have any questions about the animation, please email me at sgaanimation@gmail.com for a direct response, or comment on a different video or post. Otherwise, I'm going to be removing any comment on this post about it.

Hello everyone,
I'm far enough along on my animation that I feel comfortable enough to release which one it is, and it's the Virginia Tech shooting. I've added a frame of the Norris Hall shooting (which is still a work in progress). And, I'm going to try to get it out before January of 2021.

Also, I already have planned which animation I'm going to do next, so I'm not in need of suggestions at the moment.
That's all,

Hey everyone. I've decided to put out occasional updates on animations as posts like this. I figure it's the easiest way for everybody to see it, compared to replying to a particular person's comment.

I know some people already know this, but the next animation is on the Yom Kippur shooting in Halle, Germany, that happened last October. The progress on this is going well, and I predict it will be out before the middle of August. I've attached a frame of the animation. (This frame is at 9:05 in the livestream, for anybody curious)

As for the next animation, I have a large list of potential ones, and I can't say for certain which one I will choose. It all depends on what information is available. I also might do a voiceover of the Columbine shooting, which I've been meaning to do for a while now.

That's all for now.
