Completed God of War 1 almost a month ago and I really loved the game. The game introduced the most badass character of all time. The journey from ghost of Sparta to the God of War was such a ride. There was pain, agony, betrayal and anger, everything it needed to be the greatest introduction of a character. The final battle with God Ares was worth the wait and it sets Kratos as a new God of War along with some emptiness in his life which definitely gonna lead him to go berserk against the Gods of Olympus.
Apart from the story the gameplay was also fun with new magic and combos to unlock as the game progresses. Also the variety of the enemies and locations does not make you bore for a second. There may be some negatives too but I'm not gonna talk about them much because we can surely ignore them but one thing I would like to point out will be the lake of the big boss battles so I hope that sequel to this game improve on that. Started playing God of War 2 now so I'll write my review after I completes the game.
I will give this game 8.5/10. A must play.
