This is an ongoing project to study the origins of ethnic bibukar bdayuh tribe of Serian. Their culture, pagan beliefs and way of life including cultivation of padi. Early conversion from paganism to christianity and trade with Brunei with subsequent fiefdom and honorary orangkaya pemanca awards from the sultan thru his ruler representative Pengiran Mahkota Muda Hassim.
