There was a time Onam felt like a reminder of everything I had lost — joy, connection, peace.A festival that once brought me close to someone, then pushed me into loneliness.
But healing has a strange way of arriving quietly. Sometimes in the form of family. Sometimes in old friends showing up. Sometimes in new ones you get the confidence to make. Sometimes in laughter you didn’t expect to have.
This year, Onam felt light again, and happier than ever.
To anyone in a dark place right now — I promise the light comes. Healing isn’t linear, and sometimes it takes 7 years. But it comes.
Put your best intentions out into the universe. It’s listening. 🌿💛
