Something's changed in the Youtube back-end that means some videos are getting flagged and removed because there's a link in the description.
Terms of Service say that directing a user away from the video instead is a "deceptive practice," but is unable to consistently identify when someone is directed away and when you're crediting a video or site as inspiration for what you're going to do in this one.
They're doing it to prevent view farming and the like from creating fake videos that point to one the user wants to get traffic to, but the user goes about it dishonestly.
Youtube initially shut my channel down but restored it quickly on appeal, but I'm removing all the videos to prevent any more getting flagged inappropriately. Everyone who was going to watch those ones probably already did.
If I upload again, I'll be citing references using text only. I'll say who the channel is if I'm responding to something but won't include the at symbol, nor will I include any hyperlinks.
