Okā¦ so I canāt prove to you *why* this is happening (though I have a strong suspicion), but hereās what currently *is* happening on my Instagram.
If you didnāt know, Instagram has basically official shadow banning where you can still post because you havenāt broken the core policies but they claim you violated the separate āmonetization policies.ā When that happens your account isnāt shown to anybody not already following you, so you canāt really grow. And that hold lasts for 3 months, even if you get the violation overturned on review.
So with that established, I was finally cleared of the 90 days, the first thing I upload after that actually starts to get traction (donāt remember the last time that happened) until itās hit with the monetization violation. Thats the one you see at the bottom from January 11th. Youāll notice that thereās no specific post listed because it was cleared on review, which doesnāt stop the 3 month shadow ban anyway.
Then today I posted about TikTok going away (yeah thatās its own bizarre thing, donāt want to get into it right now) with a screenshot of my profile on there. Immediately flagged for violation. Then I posted a screenshot of that violation saying āwhat the hell?ā and guess what? BOOM another immediate violation.
I hope youāll forgive me for feeling an eensy bit targeted at the moment.
