Hi everyone,
This coming Sunday I will be uploading a video filmed at the new Deer Park skyrail station, which was filmed recently on my second visit after the reopening. I was a little disappointed with the level of completion the first time around so I thought a re-visit would be nice with all work done, although word is that the platforms turned out to be too short for the 9-carriage VLocity trains of the future, and will have to be extended. This video will follow my recent upload āV/Line Trains at the Old Deer Park Stationā, which is footage from four years ago, filmed with the old HC-V180 camcorder, that I recently uncovered from āthe vaultā. I hope will enjoy!
Cheers,
Jasper

Hi everyone,
Just a quick post to say thankyou to everyone subscribed to Jasper's Transport Videos in helping the channel reach 1K subscribers! It's been a gradual build and, having just passed five years on YouTube, it's a milestone that is very welcome and I thank you for your support. I hope you continue to enjoy the content, even though uploads may be a little less frequent due to work commitments, and as always I welcome any comments or feedback. Videos in the pipeline include a seventh V/Line train compilation, and a visit to Melbourne's newest station at East Pakenham.
Cheers,
Jasper

Hi everyone,
In a first for Jasperās Transport Videos, I will be releasing a tram compilation video. This video is a collection of clips filmed around the aftermath of the covid lockdown period (2020-21) and features most tram types on various routes around Melbourneās CBD. There are some rare sights as well as trams no longer seen on certain routes. Keep your notification for the channel on, it will be made public on Tuesday or Wednesday night. Hope you enjoy this one!
Cheers,

Hi everyone,
Gunzelling miracles do happen!!
About a year ago I decided to document Parkdale station just before work began on the rebuilding of the station. I filmed, I edited, I posted, I forgot to put some important clips inšso took it down, only to realise I didnāt keep the clips on file. So I decided to let that canoe sail past, and used the clips I did have in a compilation video. Then, just recently by sheer accident, I found those ālostā clips. I am now able to put together the Parkdale video I thought would never happen!
Iām editing it now, should be up this week
Cheers

Hi everyone,
Way back in May 2019, this channel began life with two uploads which were compilations of level crossings around Melbourne, which was originally going to be the content focus for the channel. Things changed after we realised how much fun trainspotting is, with the first vlog at Southern Cross station. However the idea of occasional compilation videos stuck, with Metro and V/Line train compilations as well as level crossings.
So now we find ourselves up to the ninth āMelbourne Level Crossings Compilationā video, which features soon to be removed crossings on the Lilydale, Frankston and Sunbury lines.
Hope you find this video interesting, it will be available to watch at 6pm, Wednesday 14
Cheers!

Hi everyone,
Just putting the finishing touches on a three-part series covering all of Melbourneās āend of the lineā stations, with part 1 to be uploaded tomorrow night, and parts 2 and 3 on Friday and Sunday. We see how wide and varied the outskirts are as we travel to each terminus on the electrified network for a quick tour and see trains terminating. Part 1 covers the Clifton Hill and Cross-City group lines, so turn on your notifications and catch it tomorrow night!
Cheers,

Hi everyone, the long overdue 8th Melbourne level crossing compilation has been completed and uploaded. This one focuses on the soon to be removed crossings remaining on the Pakenham line. Youāll see and hear some mixed bell crossings and the older Westinghouse hybrid bells. Hope you can check it out, set to go public Tuesday June 28 6pm.
