Today I dropped my wife and daughter off at the airport so that they could fly to Madrid Spain and visit my in-laws. This is a sad moment because I'm going to miss them but it's also a prideful moment because this is why I got into real estate in the first place. To create a life and an income that allows me to give them what they want. Even a two-week vacation to Europe. Granted, I've got to stay home and make sure I keep the money coming in but one day I'll be able to take those vacations with them at the drop of a hat as well

Kitchens and basements have always been my favorite spaces in any house. Kitchens because I come from the food service industry and have been cooking professionally or for my family since I was 14 years old. And basements because the first time I had my own room it was a basement bedroom and I've been obsessed with the benefits of a basement bedroom or a basement office or a basement man cave ever since. It's always cooler than the rest of the house, it's always quieter than the rest of the house, and you're truly away from the rest of the house.

The January real estate market numbers are out and long story short we are hurting for inventory. It's still very much a seller's market but buyers are finding room to negotiate and when we were averaging 102% this price to sales price right now we're hovering around 98%. We also went from 17 days on market to an average of over 30. So we're moving towards a more healthy market but it's still very much a seller's market. Yesterday we had an award ceremony in my company for the year 2022. I was blessed to get 22 place in the top 25 of realtors for gross commission income and sales for the year. And that's all thanks to friends and family but mostly to the people that found me on YouTube and shows me to represent them in their move to East Tennessee. Thank you so much YouTube.
