After over a decade-long wait, Apple finally added the pause button to the video section in the default camera application. However, you must install the RC version of the iOS 18 Beta software update to get the pause function. The update size came around 6.8 GB on my iPhone 15 plus. The official launch of iOS 18 is on the 16th of September, as mentioned on the Apple website!
