Today's word is 'revelation'. In addition to this word, the last book in the Bible is also called Revelation. This book speaks about the battle at the end of times between good and evil. The winner of this battle is Jesus, presented as the Lamb of God โค๏ธ.

Revelation in the Bible often stands for the revelation of God. Jesus Christ revealed the Gospel in his life. Among other things, this teaches us what helps us to believe. Jesus 'revealed' himself at God's own chosen time. He came to earth with a plan and taught us about God and how to live โ˜˜๏ธ.

More than eleven years after the birth of the seven billionth inhabitant of the world, the eight billionth is born today. At least, that is what the United Nations predict. The UN has designated today as a symbolic date, because it can never be determined exactly when the milestone will be reached. The first billion reached the world in 1806, but after that the world population increased rapidly. Do you ever wonder why humans exist?
The creation story in Genesis tells how God created the earth and that He created the human race in His image. God created the first humans, Adam and Eve, and blessed them. As humans, we were created for the ultimate purpose of having a personal relationship with God. Unfortunately, the fall of Adam and Eve has had a devastating effect on our entire humanity, world and our relationship with God.
But because God has always loved His creation, He has created a great recovery plan for our human nature. Immediately after the Fall, God promised that a Savior would come. He sent his Son, Jesus, to this world to restore the relationship with God the Father. Isn't that hopeful?
A personal relationship with God! Isn't that special? But not only that... God even has a plan for each of His children that He also wants to make clear to us step by step. Are you entering into that personal relationship with God? โค๏ธ

Do you have more self-confidence, God-confidence or both? ๐Ÿ’™
I remember what my mom told me about what others said about me: I would never become someone; I would not be worth it bringing me to school ๐Ÿ˜“. When I was 1,5 years old, the doctors told my parents to leave me in the hospital, but my parents were brave and it not follow their advice. For that, I am eternally thankful โค๏ธ.
At school, there were many people that told me I am worthless. I remember a boy from high school that laughed at me, because of my wheel chair ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿฆผ. Because of him, there were days that I did not want to go to school. I really liked to learn, but the making fun of me made it too painful to go to school. And although I said I did not care, I did. The feeling of being worthless grew. I got my high school diploma and I went studying at the University ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐ŸŽ“. That way, my parents and I could show the world that I was "normal".
During my first year of college, I met a boy that asked me questions about my life and faith. At that moment, I did not know exactly what I believed in. I didn't even know if I believed in myself. The boy told me about Jesus and he took me with him to church ๐Ÿ’’. The pastor spoke about a God that loves unconditionally. That touched me deeply. I understood God loved me for who I was, and that Jesus died for my place. Not because of the fact that I accomplished it, but simply because I am His child. Because He loves me the way I am. I cried out of joy. Finally someone that accepts me the way I am! And that I don't have to prove anything ๐Ÿ˜‡!
Something had changed. I started to enjoy my life, my study and myself. I am still on my way. Everyday, I have to make the choice to believe and to be fully aware of being worthy for God. Of course, there are days where everything feels the same as the past, but I know how to fight those feelings now. I am not as weak and vulnerable anymore, because I have God that gives me strength ๐Ÿ’ช. A security and self confidence that I did not know, have come into my life.

Do you know the power of financial partnership? โค๏ธ
Financial blessing is only one aspect of financial partnership. Financial partnership is a power that God has given us to be effective in His Kingdom. When we give, life flows in both directions, both to the giver and the recipient. God's Kingdom gets built by it. In the Bible this principle is called 'financial partnership'. ๐Ÿ’ธ๐Ÿคฉ
First of all, let's look at the meaning of partnership. Partnership is a collaboration between two parties with mutual benefits to achieve a common goal. Financial partnership is about working together vigorously in God's Kingdom and receiving all the blessings that come with it ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜‡.
The book of 3 John is a short Bible book. The book only has 15 verses, so it doesn't even take a minute to read it. Despite the small content of the book, the message is of great importance. The entire book revolves around the theme of Financial Partnership. John (not the baptist, but the apostle) starts his letter positively and writes about Gaius. Gaius was probably an important person in that congregation. John praises Gaius for the hospitality and partnership he shows to the traveling ministries (3 John 1:5-8).
One of the greatest benefits of financial partnership is that you share in the spiritual fruit/blessing of the church, ministry, or organization you are a financial partner of. You have helped them to achieve a certain goal. The fruit (blessing), is not only for this specific organization/church, but also for the partner ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿคฉ.

A testimony or confession is often told when a person chooses Jesus in a private group or publicly โœ๏ธ. A testimony is usually about what a person's spiritual journey was like and how he eventually accepted Jesus.
Often Christians experience special and supernatural things in their lives that have to do with their faith or with Jesus ๐Ÿ˜ƒ. They would most likely also talk about what God can do, who He is, and the effect it can have if someone chooses to live for God ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ†. A good example is, the song 'Mercy' by Elevation Worship. In this song one of the band members tells his story, his testimony.

Is lying justified if it is for the greater good? ๐Ÿคฅ
My name is Herman and I grew up in a Christian family. While you might generally consider me a good boy, I was very good at making up excuses, lies, and stories for my own good. I was good at exaggerating to make myself more interesting or to save myself from difficult situations ๐Ÿคฅ.
First, I had to be able to remember what I said to whom. In addition, I also had to make sure that those people I told a different story to don't tell each other. I started to discover more and more how exhausting it all was ...
One morning I wondered why I didn't just stop lying. Gradually I realized that I had to do things differently. From that moment many burdens were lifted off my shoulders. For example, I also learned that I don't have to lie to keep my friends. In fact, many of them really appreciated that i told them the truth instead of lying ๐Ÿ˜‡.
Although I still have to be careful not to use lies or excuses, I still experience it as a liberation. Bible verses John 8:32 and Matthew 11:28 have helped me immensely to understand God's truth and the danger of dishonesty. And I hope it helps you too ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿงก!

Do you trust God? ๐Ÿ’™
"I was sexually, mentally, emotionally and verbally abused by my father for as long as I can remember until I left home at 18. My father was a mean, controlling and manipulative person for most of his life. He was unpredictable and did terrible things ๐Ÿค. As a result, the atmosphere of our home was super-charged with fear because you never knew if what you did would make him mad or not. We always did what he wanted to do, because everything in our house was determined by his moods and what he wanted ๐Ÿคฎ๐Ÿ˜–."
"The sexual abuse started when I was very young, and when he decided I was mature enough, he took things even further. From this point until I was eighteen, he raped me at least once a week. My father, whom I was supposed to be able to trust and who was supposed to keep me safe, was the person I came to fear the most ๐Ÿ’”. He said that everything he did was good, but it had to be kept secret from us because no one else would understand and that could cause problems in the family ๐Ÿคซ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ. As long as I kept this a secret, I couldn't get rid of the pain, guilt, and shame of it".
"You may be wondering, Joyce, where was God in all of this? He was there. He didn't take me out of the situation when I was a kid, but He did give me the strength to get through it. Yes, my father abused me and was never the right father figure for me. But God always had a plan for my life and so He redeemed me. He has taken what Satan intended to be evil and made good out of it. He has taken away my shame and given me a double reward ๐Ÿ‘‘๐Ÿ’™". (see Isaiah 61:7 in the Bible).
"God can heal and restore you too. It may seem impossible, but God's truth in the Bible has set me free from a life of pretensions and lies and restored my soul. I am living proof that nothing is too difficult for God . And whatever you've been through, there is hope! Don't give up, because God is there to help you!" โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿ”ฅ
