আর নতুনের ছোয়া লেগে হৃদয় আনন্দে উদ্ভাসিত হয়ে উঠুক,
শুভ নববর্ষ বন্ধু;

নতুন আসা, নতুন রোদ্দুর,
নতুন আলো নতুন ভোর
মিষ্টি হাসি দুষ্টু চোখ,
তোমার মনের যত স্বপ্ন
নতুন বছরে তা পূর্ণ হোক,
শুভ পহেলা বৈশাখ

বয়ে আনে ঝড় বুকে আশাদের ভীড়
কান্নারা হাসি হোক, হোক আরো নিবিড়
পরে থাক স্মৃতি কথা পুরনো দিনের
আহ্বান করি শুধু নতুন ভোরের
বছর শেষের নতুন সুর বাজে বাতাসে
চৈত্র দিনের চৈতালী হওয়া
সব হারিয়ে আবার ফিরে পাওয়া
শুভ নববর্ষ

সুখের ছন্দে ছন্দে মনের আনন্দে
সব ব্যাথা ধুয়ে মুছে যাক
মানুষ সহ পৃথিবীর প্রতিটি প্রাণী
যে যেখানে সবাই ভালো থাক
আছে যা মন্দ হোক তা আনন্দ
শুধু আশা আর ভালোবাসাটুকু থাক
হৃদয় থেকে জানাই তোমায়
