Hoppy #internationalrabbitday π Who remembers the sweet boy who started it all? Rocky was such a special bunny to me so I thought it was only fitting that today I shared a photo of him! Rabbits are amazing creatures but do require specialized care. They live 10-12 years, need to be spayed/neutered and ideally live with a bonded partner as they are very social animals. They have an incredibly delicate digestive system, prefer their feet on the ground, have a fragile bone structure and are not toys for children. They do much better in a bunny proofed room or home than an unsuitable pet shop cage. All of that said - I obviously love bunnies! Once tame they are loving and social, can be litter and clicker trained, are inquisitive and smart and love to play! Sadly there has been a massive influx of rabbits being surrendered this year or even worse - being dumped outside. π If you are interested in adding some rabbits to your home please visit the Ontario SPCA!!

There was a breach in the bunny room this morningβΌοΈ Mr. Bb was close enough to catch the action and intervene in the midst of Carina charging at Atticus and Penny. π€¦ββοΈ The fur was flying and the sass was real but thankfully no one was injured. Hoppy Friday Friends!! β¨ Monday will be my final postal drop off before the Holidays are upon us as Mr. Bb and I continue to self quarantine as much as possible and time our postal drops with other essential errands. Unfortunately due to the pandemic this year there have been no guarantees on when orders will arrive. Many of our main depots and distribution centres have been closed off and on for necessary quarantine periods during the past few months.
