My real name is Billy Brasfield, but I have become better known as Billy B. as that I what I use for work as a Makeup Artist. I am originally from a very small town in Northern Mississippi called Aberdeen. I ran away to New York City in 1984 and got a job on the main at 'Macy's Herald Square' in Cosmetics. I had no prior experience as a Makeup Artist, so this was my 1st experience with makeup….. so, Yes, I lied in my Interview to get that job.
That job is how I discovered a passion and my talent.
I began to teach myself on my customers, and learned from "Trial and Error", and there was a lot of "Error", and Billy B was "Born"
. I was also the Star of my own 6 hr. Reality Show - Mini Series, "Hometown Renovation" for HGTV. . I was a Judge on Rupaul's Drag Race Season 3 and 4, and I am the Global Consulting Makeup Artist for L'oreal Paris.
