I am an experienced commercial driver learning to drive a dump truck. Travel along as I try to figure out driving the truck and navigating construction sites while keeping my boss, the people who hire our dump trucks and the authorities happy.
I am also an organizational psychologist, former business professor at the College of Williams & Mary and HR manager/executive at Ford Motor Company and Microsoft. I aim to give an upbeat outsider perspective on the hauling business. I hope to encourage people who own, drive, and use dump trucks to
1. Fill their own Dump Truck toolbox with a variety of business and transportation tools.
2. Become skilled in the use of these tools.
3. Know when to use different tools.
