Hello friends. Took a road trip with our company truck driver today. At our last stop of the day they had this old Chessie System trailer in the yard. Not sure how old but has to be from the 70s or 80s. This is in Kearny NJ.
Should have a new video up tonight featuring the LV railroads Bowmans Creek branch. Have a wonderful day.

Hello friends. Just wanted to say hello. I have videos coming. Life is just busy right now. In the meantime check out this interesting piece of maintenance of way equipment. I believe this is used for tree cutting.
This is sitting in Emmaus Pennsylvania.

Happy Monday to you all. Been busy with life but I’ve been taking some neat pictures when the opportunity arises. This is a group of photos from East Allentown PA. Featured is lock 40 of the Lehigh Navigation System, and a nice railroad bridge with both Lehigh and Susquehanna stonework and Central railroad of New Jersey concrete and steel. The lock is the oldest structure however it was upgraded with concrete at some point in its life. Stone work on bridge goes back to the 1860’s. Concrete on bridge has date stamps of 1915 and 1916. Have a great day!

Happy Monday everyone. Our next stop is the Martins Creek Viaduct. This is the smaller brother of the Tunkhannock Creek Viaduct. If you zoom in on picture 5 you will see the roll date on the rail. A couple shorts and one long video to come. Have a great day.

Good morning friends. Just wanted to say thank you for checking out the recent video featuring the trolley and canal remains. This photo is in the same valley, just a bit further north. I believe this to be exit lock 8 coming out of the Second Mountain Canal section of the Schuylkill Navigation. Not sure on the date but we can speculate it’s post 1845 and pre 1885. The reason I speculate this is because the Philadelphia and Reading mainline is to the left of the photo ( compass west) and the Pennsylvania Railroad Schuylkill Division is not yet built. That line will eventually be on the right side of the photo ( compass east). The navigation is being filled in as the extreme north sections were abandoned early in the game. Not sure what the railroad is in the middle. May just be a temporary track built to fill the canal. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. We will try to figure it out together.

Good evening friends. Just wanted to say hello. With the foliage and wet weather, getting out has been tricky lately. I do have some plans which include visiting this abandoned Northampton and Bath railroad bridge. These pictures were taken by my friend Zion. @EJStratMan1 He is truly a great locator of all things cool.
Unfortunately this weekend looks damp again so we’ll see what happens. As always, thank you for everything. Have a great night.

Exploring old railroads and rail trails and whatever else we find along the way. Nothing professional here, just us looking for cool history and some attempts at train spotting. Let's see what's out there. These videos are not intended to promote trespassing of any kind. I am aware of the risks and legal ramifications I take and wish only to satisfy my curiosity and highlight the tremendous amount of work that often goes unseen. Hope you enjoy and thanks for watching and subscribing.
