Formed in 1991, the Earth and Spirit Council is a 501(c)(3) educational organization dedicated to strengthening our connection with the natural world.
Founded at a national conference in Seattle, the original intention was to establish Councils in cities across the USA. As far as we know we are the only one still in existence. Our longevity is a credit to our grounding in guiding principles of all life on our planet being in balance and harmony, a relatively small number of very dedicated individuals with a relatively large supporting cast. Our mission is to spread Indigenous wisdom through a speaker series, the arts, and education.
Our membership is open to all who share our guiding principles, and who want to join us at our activities as a participant and/or volunteer, donate time and/or money, and/or serve in a leadership position on the Board or on a committee.
