Watched the entire Yakuza show.
As a fan I canβt recommend, detached from that, this feels like something I would watch with my mom on a late night for 10 minutes before switching to find something better.
Plotβs a sauceless mishmash of Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1, and Judgment(for some reason lmaoooooo). Fight scenes werenβt that good. Overall kinda a whatever viewing.
I honestly donβt get why some people vehemently defend the show saying βitβs not that bad.β Like sure itβs not unwatchable, thereβs like 1 or 2 things the show does decently well, but nothing stood out to me personally. More often than not I found myself getting bored and wanting to do something else, but kept watching anyway out of obligation of being a huge fan of the LAD series.

If this does get an S2 I hope they improve on their shortcomings.

Itβs aight, basically fanfiction, fun to poke fun at.
Oh also, no clang sfx for when Kiryu did Essence of Head Bashing.
